Sarah Shahi was an American actor best known as the main character on Life, a television show. Shahi is of Iranian as well as Spanish origins. Her work has widened her views beyond the religious and cultural boundaries. At a young age Shahi wanted to be an actor. She began modeling as a child and soon took the leap. Her work was often in theatre at the college level and at school. Sarah started her career in film and television in modesty. There were a handful of guest appearances on various TV shows and films before she was offered her first role as a lead. Shahi's fame isn't limited only to her skills as an actress. Apart from being an actress Sarah Shahi is also an avid sports fan and has worked as an NFL cheerleader before taking her position in front of the camera. She's an accomplished American actor best known for playing Sara Tancredi on the Fox TV series Prison Break with co-star Wentworth Miller and Lori Grimes on AMC's The Walking Dead. Maxim has rated her as one of The Hottest Females in the Fall of Television 2008. Callies made the move into New York in 2003 and was soon offered her first TV role, Kate O'Malley, a recurring part on the short-lived CBS series Queens Supreme. The first time she appeared in the lead role was as The Detective Jane Porter from The WB's Tarzan.
