Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th, 1970) is an American actor. The actress from the United States is known for her performances on screen and the stage. Allison Janney rose to fame after nearly twenty years playing regional stage productions. Her role in the role of White House press secretary C.J. was a huge success. Gregg was the main character on The West Wing. Allison Janney was always a late bloomer. Her driving permit was not issued until the age of 17, one year after many of her peers came from Ohio. After she graduated from university, her first ever date did not happen. When she began auditioning at 23 years old, she didn't make an appearance in a movie until her mid 30s. Faris, who left Mom in the year 2020 has chosen to be extremely selective with her roles. She has mainly appeared in animations with the only exception being the 2022 film The Estate. Faris tells PEOPLE exclusively that this was not an option she chose to make. Anna Faris is leaving her CBS sitcom Mom during the midst of the 8th season. At the time, Faris said she was leaving to pursue new opportunities, however, she's now revealing details about the reasons she chose to take a break from acting that she claims wasn't a conscious choice in the moment. Janney had been sporting an unreal wig when she began the series. Fallon stated, "Everyone knows now that I've worn a hairpiece since the first season, but nobody knew about the fact that I was wearing it." Janney intends to take the wig to keep as a souvenir. In the early seasons of this series, the actress earned up to $125,000 every episode. Faris was believed to have made $200,000 for each episode in season three and four.
